Do you write your dreams down? I do. Here is why. Because it is a proven fact that if you write your dreams and goals down you will have an edge for reaching them. In America only 1% of the people retiring at the age of 62 or older are independently wealthy not depending on social security or pensions but vested by their own wealth. That is amazing! But here is the most amazing secret. They did only one thing different from those who retired just comfortable, reliant on government systems or in complete poverty.
Everybody dreams, Dreams of a better life or special things they would like to do or accomplish. Why do some have and some have not? The one difference is quite amazing and seemingly simple. Those who became successful in seeing their dreams through and accomplishing their goals did one thing different. They wrote it down. Yes the one difference was they wrote down on paper all their dreams, plans and goals. This is a fact!
I learned this principle from a very young age. My father is a very wise and successful man. He had the wisdom to always lead us in the ways of the Lord. We wouldn't even have the Word of God for a guide in our lives if God had not said write it down. Just think how prophecy works. First it was written then it was performed.
Prophecy some positive for your Life write down those dreams, visions, goal and desires. Then read them over. Develop some into achievable goals. Edit some out as you go, they are yours. Clearly define and envision your worthwhile goals for a future to look forward to.
This has worked for me for many years. I became a self-made millionaire by the age of 27.
Mind set has a lot to do with seeing your dreams through too. What do you think about? What do you allow your meditation to be? Do you allow your environment to dictate your thoughts? Or, do you dictate what you allow your environment, the things around you, the sounds around you, music, what you look at to influence your mindset?
I believe our thoughts are who we are and who we are becoming. I base my success principles on the Word of God. Here are two very good verses to keep your mind right.
Joshua 1:8 "This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success." (amplified version)
Take notice here if you know and meditate on Gods word. Then you are the one who will make your way prosperous and have good success.
This one reminds me what I should really be thinking about.
Philippians 4:8 " For the rest brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of theses things (fix your minds on them). Now those guidelines should make you think good thoughts!
